what should i do with my cladding???

im finally getting around to replacing my front bumper, wheel arch, and grille. the problem i have is that my cladding is painted with PPG DBC 9700 with flattening agent to make it satin. since my accident (3 years ago) ive been to just about every local body shop and not a single one will paint my cladding satin black. they all insist i repaint everything gloss.
I DONT WANT GLOSS!!!

3 pieces of cladding are new with no paint on them and at least 7 other pieces need to be repainted cause the assholes that painted it the first time did a job so shitty its not even worthy of being called half assed! originally the cost to paint all of the cladding was $2800 paid for by the insurance after my first accident in '01. right now i dont have that kind of money laying around and if i did it would be going towards a new tranny.

i'm assuming the cost is the same if not more now... so what should i do?

A: find a shop that will do the work and just get the unpainted pieces painted and hope they match
B: just leave the unpainted pieces on there with the painted pieces even though it looks like ass! save for the tranny!!!
C: sand off the paint on all of the cladding. its a lot of work and a total pain in the ass but the paint shop is going to half to do that anyway, and at least all of the cladding will match till you get it painted.

A: Find a shop that will give you what you want. If you were closer, It's say my father in law could paint it for you, but Denver is far from being the 6th safest city

I would paint it all but I see no need to sand off all of the old paint... It only needs to be degreased and roughed up a little.. I would probably hit it with a 320 grit or so then a 600 grit.. If you want you can lay a sealer primer over that but you prolly don't need to... If you were to take all of the cladding off of the truck, sand it down yourself and take it to a shop I can't see it costing more than ~$500-$700... Where exactly is the "7th safest city in america"?

I light pressure sand blasted a GMC grill that some idiot had spray bombed with a can a black paint..

I then degreased it, hit it with a self etching primer(I didn't want it to chip/flake), then a high build sandable primer(the blasting made it a little rough), sanded it then sprayed the base and clear.. It came out quite nice but was a bit of a PITA...

Thousand Oaks, CA.

500-700 wouldn't be bad but then i'm still left with the problem of finding someone to paint it satin/matte. no one wants to do it because you cant color sand it and buff it. there was one custom motorcycle paint shop i found that would do it (not local), but he said he was pretty backed up and didnt know how long it would take before he could get to it. im guessing most shops dont want to do this cause its a pain in the ass and they arent really making a ton of money on it, like they would from an insurance company... i guess i should just drive out to this guys shop and see how much he wants to paint it if i do all the R&R and prep work.
