What seats will fit a '93 Typhoon?

Don't taze me bro!
I want seats that are leather to match the rear stocker and prefer non-electric. I prefer something that manually slides (if it can be done on these rails) as well as manually reclines and also tilts forward and slides forward to be able to access the rear seat. I don't want electric as it's a PITA IMO. I want memory seats for a 2dr 4 seater as it's easier to get in the back.

So, black leather to match the rears, and mechanical adjustments. What will fit and will it require any modifications or drilling of the current rail or relocating the floor bolts with brackets?

Thanks.

jimmys and bravadas came with leather interiors..

the seats should bolt right up.

That's what I figured.

What years are compatible and are any of them non-eletric?

If it had stock seats I wouldn't have posted this. One of the Typhoons I'm looking at has aftermarket leather wrapped racing seats that don't fit me. By that I mean the side bolsters are WAY too 'snug' for me. When I sit in them, my back doesn't touch the back of the seat and rather rests against the bolsters and my hips and butt pretty much rest on the lower bolsters and it hurts to sit in them. I suppose if you were average size they would hug you awesomely for cornering. For me, they just don't fit.

Of all the Typhoons I've looked at and driven, this one is about the closest to what I'm looking for but the seats MUST go before I can drive it. I can't seem to find a set of Typhoon fronts for it (I would prefer the '93 but am open to about anything at this point) and if I'm gonna go out and make something else to work I want it to be more specific to what I want (mechanical adjustments, memory seats, heated if possible).

Would newer Trailblazer/Envoy seats fit? I think they fit older S10's so perhaps they might fit a Typhoon. They are power though and I really want mechanical if possible.

jer,

you can make any seats fit with the right fabrication..

and don't be scared of power, all it usually needs is +12v and a ground..

as for looking for stock seats, I actually do have a spare set of 92 ty front seats.. I was gonna keep em for awhile..

but, with me lookin for a house and all, $ is $.. if the price is right, I'd sell them..

shipping would be a bitch though.

Yes. It's the one on eBay that's in Estes park. I've driven it and been talking to the guy for weeks now. If it wasn't for the seats not fitting me I would've bought it by now.

It's not the wiring I'm worried about. I'm worried about motors going out and I hate waiting for the seats to move. I guess I'm old fashioned and like to pull up on a bar and have the seat where I want it .3 of a second later. Also, all the motors and mechanisms are extra weight. Not a lot, but every little bit helps on these porkers.

Thanks for the offer on your seats but I think I'll try to find something non-Ty that will fit locally to save on the shipping.

That's not too bad I guess. Still almost $100 more than a set of locally purchased seats though. I guess if the price was right on a set of Typhoon seats I would consider shipping.

I know that truck, know one of the previous owners, drove it, and know the original location of the truck.

It does have a good history BTW.

If you look one of the former owners is a member here.

Hint: He lives in Denver.

I would consider trading my stock 93 seats for those!

BTW, That truck came from Louisville.

I test drove it, inspected it for will to buy it sight un seen.

Drove well back then, and will had it running 12's.

Would you? We could each pay shipping and have what we each want for around $70... or are you in CO??

Edit: I see you're not in Colorado so we would both need to pay shipping.

I would be interested in the (racing) seats shipped to 29483, that is if all
else fails.

Okay. I was hoping to do a deal where I would be able to make a few bucks since these are pretty high dollar seats but at this point would be happy w/someone who would pay for shipping in both directions (extra $70 or so).
