What dist. to buy

I would like to know whats everyones recommendation on distributors. I removed mine while doing other things to the truck and the pickup (not sure but I thinks thats what I'm talking about) is loose, and the bearing has a slight amount of play in it. I don't mind the bearing since its really not bad but I would like to know should I get a cheapy from autozone or whatever or should I get the MSD. Now on the MSD while searching around I found it for $245 (part # 8597) which I thought was a real good price but then I found out they make two different ones and the one commonly gotten is $290 (part # 8367). Only difference I see is the cheaper one must be used with a MSD box which is not big deal since my digital 6 is going in the truck anyways. Please let me know your opinions so I can get this ordered up, Thanks.

As much as I hate Auto-Zone stuff, a friend had good luck with the Auto-Zone replacement distributor on his Sy, so I went for it. Working fine so far. Though I did use an ACDelco ignition module as opposed to the Auto-Zone supplied module.
While I have had decent luck with it, I would still default to ACDelco replacement parts.
