I put some custom made door panels for the sound system. In the process, I installed a GMC Led logo that comes on when the door opens.

Replaced the spark plug wires today.

Good Lord that was a nightmare!
Makes my old V8 Monza's look easy. Son of a .......

I'd bet the ones that were there were the originals.
Packard and numbered.

AND......replaced the turbo to intercooler hose.
Original was in fine shape. I just wanted to try the smoother ACDelco 24145L.
After trimming to fit, it worked great.

Improvement? No idea.
It has to flow better though; much larger ID and worlds smoother internal surface and bend.

Finished putting the new bushings in the upper control arm. Ball joint in the lower. Then got the upper and lower control arm installed on the truck. Haven't got anything torqued yet. It got to dark to work on it.

Removed my tail light assemblies. Did the headlight treatment to the lens and repainted the black metal frame. Looks brand new

Had planned on finishing the front end rebuild on the Sy. But it rained today. Did get the new tie-rod assembled. Once I have that installed and the sway bay re-installed. I had to put fresh paint on it to. I can get the engine set up to drop in.

We just finished a great big front mount intercooler swap. Got the kit from another member. It wasn't without some cutting and configuring but came out great and runs awesome. Need some bigger injectors though as we looked up 28150756 online and found them to be only 30#s. Oh forgot we also rebuilt turbo with 20G upgrade on compressor wheel. The turbo had something go through it as blades were bent chipped and bearing play was excessive. FUN!

Reinstalled the radio after having it repaired by an OEM radio guru here just west of St. Louis.
Guy did an outstanding job. Radio is like new again.

Put some silicone lube on the swaybar bushings. I think that cured that obnoxious squeak! :)
Spent some quality time underneath it tracking down a rattle......parking brake cable where it passes through the frame. Put a piece of vacuum hose over it. No more rattle.

Taking the Sy to the auto parts store to get stuff for my hot rod's repair.

I removed all the spaghetti wiring from under the dash of #1068, along with installing 1 different front and 1 different rear tire and wheel since two of them that were on it couldn't hold air for 24 hours.

on #1579, I finally got the freshly blasted and painted front disc dirt shields back on, along with the wheel hubs. Need to finish up cleaning the hub hardware and torque everything down, hopefully Ill have some pics of that stuff tomorrow.
