Rebuilt stock turbo with BatMoWheel, ported all necessary ports, swapped a rear braided brake line with one that wasn't pinched by the bump stop, plugged in my intercooler pump. All with the help of Sportmachines, couldn't have done it without you. Thanks Tom.

Re: What did you do to your SyTy today? (part 2)

A few weeks ago I went to do an oil change (the first since I've owned the Ty) and the oil filter and lines were cool. Turns out the block had no bypass valve. So I ordered parts and installed the bypass valve and moved the filter on the block.
Drove it once about 70 miles after I fixed it and caught a whiff of antifreeze. Got home and found a green pool under the passenger side floormat.
Changed the heater core over the weekend. Started it up once to pull it out of the garage and parked it. Went to drive it last night and the solenoid took a dump (hung on when it happened). The good news is it's a Ford type on the fender so at least it's easy to get to. So I'm picking up one after work and putting it on. Then I get to find out if it hurt the starter.
These things are so much fun! :rotf:

Replaced the solenoid last night. Starter seems fine. Drove it 37 miles to work today. The oil is going through the the filter, the coolant isn't going on the floorboard and it's starting. I wonder what's next?.:)

Just a few things that were on the list..
Forge wastegate, new UR5 spark plugs and new MSD cap and rotor, new purple wire and battery cable with a heat tube covering that is used for boats. Was a recommendation from a friends dad who is a boat mechanic. Hopefully this will make this the last time i change that purple wire. I also will include an oil change, tranny external filter change, and anything else i see while under there. I purchase parts during the winter so my closet was starting to get full.

Of course cant forget my helper. He will be 8 years old tommrrow. Time goes fast. I bought the truck when he wasn't even a thought hahah. I need to look at my records but i think its been 10 years already I have owned my truck. 14k miles in ten years not bad.

Thanks to Steve ( SEL777) i was able to rebuild my Johnson pump and put it back together today, old pump impeller sheared away from the inside causing the inlet nipple to come straight off.

It's dry pretty much immediately (any excessive stuff can be wiped out with a soft fabric, but you only need a drop or two). Also did the rear defog switch after the photo ;-)

Got the new rear lock handle put on, put in RPM wires which fit perfect without cable ties or anything, and replaced IC lines because last set kept kinking. Somehow managed to just fill up IC and not have any air at all, flows really well.

The Sy roller I bought is now moving under its own power. I let my son drive it around the neighborhood. He thought that was pretty cool.

Put the filter on the block and decided to try schaeffers oil. Oil pressures definitely better than it was and it idles quite a bit smoother too.
