Got the tires removed from the wheels I plan to run on my Ty... Going to ship the faces and lips back to the US to have the Chrome acid stripped. Anyone know any good places? Need the lips repaired and polished as well...

broke my right rear corner cladding unloading my Ty off the trailer. the sad part is I really didn't give a shit :lol:

replaced drivers side glass channel with new oem one, new glass guides, and new window motor. window goes up and down twice as fast now.

Cool if appreciate it I'm about to purchase some wheels and I don't wanna get the wrong offset

I have two options there 18x11 with either a 15 or 25 offset

Finally took the time to rip out the old ATR exhaust that was Swiss cheese, and installed the RPM exhaust that's been sitting around for a month. Sounds much better now.

Next on the list: Door Seals, Window Seals, and lift gate seals. I also need to put a new differential seal in the rear. I found it weeping while putting the new exhaust on.

Finally got my leaf spring out. One stupid bolt was seized to the bushing and I was pb blasting it every other day to see if it would come loose. It ended up just spinning the bushing so I had to cut and pound the crap out of it. Also got the drums mostly off and disconnected the rear abs sensors.

OK, So after reading a little I found out I am running 17 x 10's and 17 x 12's.
I was measuring across the rims and not from the bead to bead :)
Here is the info on the rims.

Seeing these are a 3-piece CCW classic wheel here are the measurements:

Rim Shells:
Fronts 8-1/2 Inner and 1-1/2 Outer = 17x10
Rears 9-1/2 Inner and 2-1/2 Outer = 17x12

Cut the muffler off it was full of holes and rusted to hell.. put a straight pipe in place of it for now.

It's got to be the janky chinee run channel. I'm going to order new run channels from Tom. So they're on hand when this happens again, which it will. I think the 'slot' in the channel is too wide, and the clips just pop out.

ha that just happened to me. had to put new window channel and plastic window guides. plastic guides were cheap. new oem window chanel wasn't but it needed it.

Finally have the black Ty put back together enough so I could start it. It was nice to be able to hear it run again.:D
