I dropped the young-'un off at day care, and drove it to work. Really!

The trust is all gone though... I was uber-paranoid that it was going to break, spring a leak, start on fire, or some other calamity.

So far, it hasn't done that.

Holy cow, Dig! No wonder you changed your avatar to that new pic.

LOL I can identify with the paranoia!
I don't turn on the raido, I am listening for noises.

The reality of it is, I'm so freakish about routing lines and wires and things, it'd be tough to actually have something happen. I just need to drive it for a couple weeks to get over it.

There's a small oil drip near the passenger side of the radiator... thought I fixed it with a new turbo return gasket, but it's looking like no. It'd maybe fill a thimble in a week, but it cheeses me off.

Also seems I have a partially collapsed (read: noisy) brand new lifter. Sucks.

I'm learning to hate a 3" exhaust. As soon as I can get the stock dual 2.5" re-done, I'm putting it back on.

On the plus side, the new trans shifts wonderfully, converter is nice, and the downloaded 60# base bin behaves surprisingly well just driving around.

How funny, I was just watching that movie the other day thinking, thats how I feel when I drive the Phoon. You know I am guilty of radio repair, sometimes I just don't want to face the reality that I may have to crawl back under this thing.

Nothing today, but last weekend I figured out the only way to get the bell housing bolts back in was to jack the body off the frame and stick 2x4's on top of the middle body mounts. Glad somebody, I don't remember who, posted that hint earlier.

Took the Sy on a trip to Va., 286 miles and used 13.82 gal's of gas. Most of the trip as at 60-65 mph, but some stretches I hit 75 mph for 10-15 minutes. Comes out to 20.69 mpg. Not bad at all for 7.5's et in the 1/8th. Oh yeah, that was with 100 degree outside temps and the aircon running.

Almost everything same as me except tryn to figure out how to do trans temp,

Curious why you bypassed heater core?

Thanks. It seems kinda stable now that I drove it a few times. It'll make the trip to the lake this weekend- I hope to get the driveability dialed in a bit better, although it's not really that bad. Kinda surprises me.

I have to turn the radio up now - the wastegate rod is calling me to hook it back up. :)

Put new H4 headlights in, put new screws in all the interior spots that were missing. (Rattles are gone!!!).....Ordered Infinity Kappa's for the whole thing. 4x6 and 6x9

Putting a new pinion seal and axle seals in on Tuedsay. Maybe a trans/trans case gasket as well if I have time and front Bilstein's.
