Got my Braille battery. It turned the truck over with no problems at all and it started right up...:D

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

same mounting I have just need to weld nuts on the bottom of the tray

I removed my red top battery and weighed it. It was 40lbs exact. This one is only 15. I plan on doing the ABS delete next, so there is another 18lbs saved. Between the ABS and the battery, I'm gonna be about 43lbs lighter under the hood! :D

Just a suggestion...pointing the terminals towards the driver's fender is a safer setup. Cables still reach the battery and clearance around the terminals is better. I know your battery is different, but a sideways PC680 locked in just fine on the stock tray (no aluminum bracket). Less chance of a crispy truck in a crash or arc welding your wrench to the fenderwell.

I will try that out. Thanks!

Transmission is in, transfer case tomorrow, exhaust possibly this week, then a dyno tune to follow. Getting really close. ;)

Re: What did you do to your SY/TY today?

are you going to use the stock orange elbow or use a cobra?
nice setup, I purchased the cobra elbow and have been waiting to do this setup because I was reading that there is so much heat on this side of the car that any airflow gains are negated by the heat. when you get it set up let us know if it is better over stock.
