I agree with the rest of your post, but I have KB headers, and the plugs are a snap. Easier than the stock exhaust manifolds FWIW.100in6 said:i'd like to see you use the stock exhaust manifolds cause all the headers are a pain to change plugs on.

Stock block, L35 heads, stock ecm, stock appearance.
Go all out on the suspension. Coilvers, big sway bars, Maybe design some bolt on or weld in cross bracing. Some folks have been discussing an IRS. It's been done on a 1st gen Blazer so I'm sure it's possible on a SyTy.
I know no one is offering it off the shelf.
Could open up a whole new market of already existing suspension upgrades.
And then bring it to KC for some auto x action.

HotRodV6 said:Well i say do a stock block .030 over with SRP pistons
Totla Seal rings
Eagle rods
Nitraded stock crank or just a stock crank
zero deck height
vortecs with 2.055/1.60 valves
422 comp cam
1.6 rockers
fully ported on the intake and exhasut side
fully ported upper and lower intake
BBK 58mm TB
TDO6H 14cm2 20G turbo
3 in downpipe
RPM A2A IC
tuned for max power and boost on pump gas
and then a sec chip for max power and boost on say 100 or 104 octane
and no alky or meth injection.
That build with the right tuning should put a Sy well into the 11's maybe even high 10's and a Ty at super low 12's and even high 11's i think.
Atleast thats the recipe for my Ty and i want high 11's and it will be a daily driver.
Jimmy said:Vortec heads with a 20G is like pouring a 55 gallon drum through a funnel. I'd run a big turbo through small heads before I'd run a small turbo through big heads.
I'd holler at E-Rue or Nolan to see what turbo they would recommend with your build. The 20g is just barely over stock size.HotRodV6 said:Then for the build i want to do what would be the perfect turbo to use?? I was told a 20G would get the job done but im all ears if there is a better route??

I think I would like to see a very "efficient" truck kinda like what I am doing. Looks nice, runs great all the time, gets 25mpg and runs 13.0's Very pleasurable to drive
