It's never enough
Seems to be the magical question for me. I keep reading mixed reviews running the search when it comes to the WB02 sensor. Some people say the sensor needs to be re-calibrated some say they automatically calibrate themselves. So which is it? Or is it model specific?
I'm running the older version of the M-300. Seems kinda silly because last year or the year before I would get a wide range of readings on the display. "Air" "Rich" "Lean" never really saw "Knock" but you get the idea. Lately the readings only fluctuate from about 14.1 to 15.2 and they never stray outside. Kinda makes me nervous to stand on it because I don't know if what I'm reading is accurate or not.
Even when I open the cutout (which is actually geographically north of the WB02 sensor) the A/F might go to 15.2 to 15.5. If that was the case where the cutout was open and exhaust isn't circulating past the WB02 sensor as aggressively wouldn't I get a dramatically different A/F reading on the display versus when it's closed?
Cutout open or not I think the readings are too plain jane and I got a bad sensor. But how do you actaully know the sensor is bad if you don't have a spare lying around?
Thanks in advance
