Vortec conversion

The never ending exhaust leak has finally been found. It appears that someone had been trying to port/bore out one of the exhaust ports and made it waaay too big, so they attempted to weld in the mistake but failed miserablly. So I need a new head, or new heads. I think this would be a prime time to do a vortec conversion... but I have no idea what is needed (besides vortec heads :roll: ) is there a how to on this subject, also is it worth the conversion, or should I just get another one of the stock heads?
