That is bad A$$.

Side note: what size line and fitting sizes did you run for your heater core?

I wanna say -10 but it might be -12. All i did was go to my local speed shop and measured the inside diameter of the hose and it was 5/8. So on the larger nibble i used alot of vaseline and care to slide it on.

Its under the heater box, so you don't even see the connections. Just slide the hose right on. The smaller one slips on easy, so tighten it good and the bigger one takes some work and don't break the heater core line being tough with it.

Been like that for 4 years now!

Keep it up! I gonna call out that lil Syclone of yours.

Gotta do some more tonight with changing the adjustments on the shocks.

2nd launch was on the foot brake after brakes got hot, but controller has 20 but we are getting 17.9-18.1 boost. The shocks need to be 2 more turns in the rear and adjust the fronts 2 more turns and see if it gets better. That will put the rear shocks right in the middle of the adjustment.

Hopefully i can get into a track rental within the next month or so.

It feels like a 10.90 for sure on 18lbs with the launch.

I have the QA1's front and rear on the Ty, coilover's and arms in front and coilover's rear. I love the performance handling and they ride perfect for the street/track dead center adjustment (6 clicks). The launchs are incredible, no squat or rise n' bounce in the front. My Ty is 4" lower in the front, and 5" lower in the rear and no more bottoming out the tires on the cladding on bumps. Plan on running the adjustable shocks on the Sy in the rear due to the light weight of the truck especially in the rear. These are the shocks you are using right, not a coil over just an adjustable?

Engine bay looks great do you mind sharing your PCV setup, not to hijack your subject. You could pm me.

Well in the bigger, racing engines, PVC or breathers just gonna blow oil out with the boost pressure so you get a aluminum -an fitting welded to vavle covers and then run a catch can or canister with a breather. This allows the oil to be caught in the canister but still allowing engine to breathe. Also keeps from oil getting on track.

You could also use large 3/4 hoses with just a hose fitting welded to valve covers.

Why would a "bigger racing engine" blow oil with boost pressure any more so than a stock SyTy engine? I'm curious why that would be. Bigger ring gaps or what? I'm not an expert on engine building but I would think there must be a way to avoid blowby like that?

The the bigger engine would generally run more boost then a stock motor. It wasn't bad but its was surely annoying having to wipe the valve covers off all the time becasue of the breathers.

I was thinking you where running a vacuum pump set-up. Im looking for somthing that will keep crankcase pressure down to avoid main seals and gaskets from being blown out or avoid leaking.

ralph, bring me your wastegate, we'll do the bucket test on it, seal it up and then it will make what you set it to.

keep working on the rear adjustments, maybe we can use this info later. btw were they part no tc2501p ? or something else?

We ordered the rears as 1915P 13" compressed 19" extended. The smallest i can from there is a 12.25 " to 18.5" but i think after adjusting the fronts now it is making the balance so they work together. Let me know when you will be @ the shop. Maybe next weds day i can bring back your back press gauge and honing tool.
