I COULD USE A DIAGRAM ON THE VACCUM LAYOUT..ALSO HOW IMPORTANT ARE THE CHECK VALVES

The check valves are important, otherwise you will put a things like the fuel canister under pressuere, which is bad.
Vacuum diagram. You can find one at the back od the Syclone supplement doc and on SyTy CD too. There is one on the radiator support under your hood. Nick sketched one a while ago which you could use as well.
