Too bad the 42#'s didn't burn in the fire...

Give the VIN and some peeps might be able to provide some info for ya.

Good luck with the new truck. You probably got it for cheap. 8)

looks like the fire started from a oil feed line to the turbo ? the turbo is a brand new upgrade and the stock one was in the back seat .i will be removing the motor and trans and full ft end to repair this one . i will have a full list of just what i need . i have found all the under hood wiring for dirt . i will still need all sensors ,A/C com and lines ,oil cooler lines and power steering lines also ABS unit and a air box . also need 4 wheel centers for the stock wheels . going to rebuild the motor and trans and do it the way i want it ! i will get the vin info posted on tues and i am sure some one has to know the story on this ty ? thanks shawn

Another commom cause of engine fires is rubber transmission lines blowing off when the metal ones are cut and not flared. Good idea to keep a fire extinguisher in the truck at all times just in case...

That's too bad to hear. A member on here couldn't get his off when he bought aftermarket rims so he took a drill and drilled them all off :-? ...

Welcome to the BB BTW :D ! Hope that you enjoy your stay and get your truck back on the road soon. Perhaps we will meet at the next Pennysltucky gathering.
