Urgent ?

I need to know if the front hub assembly (hub & bearings & whatever) is the same as a regular s-15 4*4. I'm being relocated to Dallas on sunday and the dealership says its a specific part. Let alone that it costs like 400. I do have a friend there that will sell it to me for like 319 but if its the same as a 4by they are probably just jacking the price up because it's a Sy.

Yeah....same as all S-Series. Actually all 4WD S-Series (regardless of year) carry the same hub assembly. The part numbers (Timken, BCA, etc..) and apps are listed below:

- 513013 - non-ABS 4WD - '82 & up S-Series
- 513061 - ABS 4WD - '91 & up S-Series & Bravada

This topic has come up quite often. For the cheapest price, etc.... do a search. Should net more than a few topics.

Thanks, I appreciate the quick reply. I started a search but I knew that there is quite a few people on here in the mornings that would know the answer. I still had to take the parts off and get to work ASAFP. So I figured by the time I got it all taken down I would have a reply. Now I'm just waiting for the parts to get here and bolt it back up.
