i was told that the ur6 are equal to the cr43ts plugs....im not saying this, this is what the garage where i am getting my motor done said to me. i said no that they are one step colder than the cr42ts. he said that he talked to the company?

I'm also curious...All of the FAQ\ReadMe's say NGK-UR6 but the UR5's cross refrence to the CR42TS's, and I've seen people post on UR5's. Which one's are the correct plugs?

EDIT: NM - mental lapse. Just getting anxious for my long awaited tune-up.

Yes, CR42TS is the correct plug for our trucks, and crosses to the UR5. The CR43TS is one step hotter than stock, and the UR6 is one step colder. At least that's what's always been said here. The TR5 and TR6 fit the Vortec heads...
