I did all the legwork to track this f'n hose down. I ordered it from Vintage Parts (vpartsinc.com), they have like 50 of them left. Fast shipping too. Here's the CORRECT hose number. It fit like a glove.
1 x HOSE HTR INL (15637958) = $53.14
There's something about hose that fit like a glove.![]()
how did you find it? gm parts person or what?
i'd like to see a pic of this thing before i commit to pay 50+ for a rubber hose, vpartsinc.com doesn't seem to have viewable pics.
that company seems like quite a hassle to deal with. website isn't very user friendly and they don't offer any info or pics on the parts. almost seems like they could care less if you find what you need
HAHA what in the F is that pic above for!?!?!?
Does this vpartsinc hose also allow for some slack? If memory serves, I remember some chatter about a theory that heater cores were prematurely dying because the hoses were too tight
The issue is actaully not having the "w" shaped support for the two copper lines coming out of the heater core. That's a different issue than this hose. I don't know how many times I can say that this hose fit perfect. It's getting comical, you will not find a better fitting hose!:rotf:
