Is there a way to lock or unlock the ultimate without knowing the specific chips code?

I bought a used Ultimate V9 and want to use the lock/unlock features.

The codes are changed periodically, and there is no "universal code". Why didn't the seller give you the code?

The previous owner is looking for the documentation, but it may be lost; we don't know yet.
