Ultimate chip 50lb runnning too rich idle high?

fuel pressure is set at 50,
but running rich and idle real high

Also wanted to know what the red jumpers are for on the ultimate chip itself?
and the dial?

The 50# is know for idling rich, you can turn the fuel pressure down, I have gone as low as 45psi static. If you are seeing a lot of knock retard, then you migh want to turn it back up.

I also tried it at 40#s and still running to rich?

That's not an ultimate chip.

Furthermore, if I'm seeing it right, the most you'll get out of that 512 chip is 2 positions.

Hard to see from the pic. It's definitely not an '040, the way it's mounted in the socket.
