typhoon rough turn

1992 typhoon when I back out of drive way then make sharp turn its slides and turns and like rough to go when turning both ways Feels like a 4 wheel drive is in then any one know whats up thks.

what maybe low on lube only does it from dead stop . I know at one time had only one front wheel pulling on front now have both weird didnt do anything too it .thks

I'm having the same issue with my Sy, when pulling out of the garage or making tight turns it feels like it is binding up. If that's the case, would this be the viscous coupling or the entire TC is on its way out???

Pulled the front propshaft. Put a socket and torque wrench on the front flange of the transfer case (where the front shaft bolts to) and figure how much torque it require to slip. A good VC is in the neighbor hood of 40ft-lbs. This is basically DaveP's procedure for testing the VC in the TC.

Mine VC measured at 30ft-lbs. My truck was still a squeely taking tight turns. I drove my Syclone to KY (over 1000 miles each way) and it now works flawlessly. I guess I just need to drive my Syclone more often.
