I just got back from certified scale,my baby weighed in @3,640 with a little over 3/4 of a tank.grape fruit diet works.

what did you do, remove the ac plus the pully and the cruise control. i just dont understand, that is a low weight, aent they around 42 something stock?

I took the roof rack off :grin: I hvave front coil over suspesion,rear flex-a-form leaf springs and baer brakes.Tomorrow I'm taking my trailor hitch off. If I a have stock motor, stock trans.Is my truck still stock as far as 1/4 mi. times go.I'm pretty sure I can get a 12.7-12.8 out of her.

that doesnt seem like a lot of removal to get that much weight loss....Al told me you will only lose about 130lbs with the coil ovr kit..I dont see the bears saving any weight all the components are larger. and the roof rack might weight 20lbs....so where did the other 1k lbs come from?

the leaf springs saved some,no spare.I was joking about the roof rack.I have the ultimate chip and thats all,I had a Sy with a KB chip and air cleaner and ran 12.70.My Ty is with in 30lbs. of my sy.So I'm hoping for 12.7 -12.8,I very well might be wrong.I can't wait to get to the track.

what is stock wieght for a ty, mine is all stock with 18 inch wheels, it does have a air to air, but not much savings there, and i have wieghed it the track and the dump and it wieghs 3660, hell it even has a 10 inch sub. what gives? Its almost funny to me that my buddys 02 ta ws6 wieghs 3600lbs.

how do you like the coil over susp., i got it coming for my syclone and the flex a forms along with als rear disc brakes. i wieghed the sy again last night at the track and it wieghs 3340, and hoping to lose another 200lbs jack

I don't know yet just installed the coil overs today,how you get you sy down to 3300 mine was 3560lb I'm looking at the Cat scale ticket w/o spare.I will give you my opinion soon.

About the coil overs, did you get them from dustan performance? And how much did the whole thing cost, i was told around 1800 each end.

that's about right on the cost,I will say one thing it launches much better now,it's driving odd,I'm sure the guy messed up the alignment.

Sorry, but you never answered, is it the dustan performance kit? I want to know because i am interested in doing it. I cant wait to pull out my torsion bars and bulky ass A-arms!

I took out ac,lighter wheels, no spare, fiberglass hood, alum driveshaft,waterpump, air to air intercooler, mini starter, headers , the truck wieghed 3550 when i bought it 2 years ago.
