A CLEAR example of how GMs head is up there ass, I dont see anything on that 5500lb plus beast that deserves the SS badge.. :tdown: ....They are ruining the mark of the SS and need to go back to basics.... jus my :2cents: ..............

Another great example of an un-inspiring GM product, way to go guys! I feel they have just scratched the surface of the mediocrity they are striving to acheive. Glad to see you keeping the TY, no way I would want to get out of a cool vehicle to hop into the me-too crowd.

Stock they handle like poo.
Brakes suck like poo.
Ride like poo.
Interior is cheap (like poo).
Curb weight is 4500 #
0-60 in 5.8 (okay - Ty wins)
1/4 in 14 @ 100 (estimate)
Better gas mileage. Warranty. Proven engine. 6sp manual woulda been nice.
Oh and about the price tag - how much was a Ty new? $29K * 12 years @ 3% for inflation......

That GM Auto Motion show was at Great America a week ago and my co-worker and I went down to see what they had. Drove the new GTO manual, C6 Vette manual, CTS-V, and some other trash that didn't excite me at all. Honestly, the only car that gives me a boner from GM is the Vette. I would never spend that kind of money on a car again, though (former Vette owner). Did get to drive my co-worker's C6 manual back to work, though...that was fun. Anyway, that Trailblazer SS seems to have the right ingredients on paper. Wonder how it'll do when people start modding?

I don't think the TB SS looks sporty enough, maybe it's the two extra doors. I mean how many four door vehicles do you see have a look sporty? GM needs to make better decisions. That LS2 and AWD should be offered on the Colorado Xtreme pick up, and then make a Blazer version of the Colorado Xtreme.

You and me both but unfortunately that makes up about 0.00000000000000000000000000000000000000000000000001% of the market at the moment. This is why you don't see any real cool sports cars any more also. In America, if it's not an 8mpg SUV that seats 15 adults and tow a house nobody is buying them any more. This country makes no sense to me sometimes.
