Dude is a smart guy and will have a Sy/Ty truck someday.It's all about being willing and able.Gr33n simply weighed the positives against the negatives and came to a rational decision.

5 months ago I was in the same boat. I needed a new car and I had narrowed it down to a Saturn ION Redline (supercharged 2.0L) or a Ty.
I got the Saturn and I'm saving for a Sy or Ty. In a few years I'll walk up to one of these guys with a wad of cash and get a bargain. Good luck with school.....I'm STILL paying it off!! :tdown:

:rant: dont listen to all these guys i drive mine around all the time its the only car i have and nothing has happened to it thus far doesnt get the best gas miliage but who cares when u can spank up most of the cars on the road. Just get one that was well maintained and you wont have problems keep it mostly stock and it should last you a while obviously if u beat on it all the time things are going to break...

BUT i would wait till i was a bit older to get one if i were you cause i know when i was 17 i did some stupid stuff with my g body regal... like when my friends convienced me to go over this bump in the road really fast...bottemed out and smoke was coming out of the brakes there were also like 5 people in the car...hey but maby i only did stuff like that. Now i drive a lot more carefully, doesn't mean i don't get on it hard when i get the oppurtunity thou

Where are you in Tx? We gots lotsa guys in here, and I'm sure if you talked to one and saw/ rode in his truck it would help.

Eh, no one has. It's About 30 mi. North of Austin, right by cedar park. Theres tons of guys in Dallas (I think). Check southern check in to see where everyone is.
