Ty instrument cluster conversion question.

I have a 95 z28 LT1 in my 88 s10 blazer. It use to have the old mechancial speedo with the cluster. The LT1's tranny has a electronic VSS. Now my question is what would it take to get a typhoon dash working in my setup? It will fit my existing bezel I know but as far the speedo goes and other gauges can i wire them some how or whats needed? Will the speedo pick up the signal if I tap into the feeder wire from VSS thats going to the PCM?

You'll need to go to a junkyard and get a DRAC module and associated under-dash wiring harness from any GM product, but preferrably from a later-model S-truck. You need to buy a manual (chilton, helm's, Opie's CD, etc) that has a wiring diagram, and hook up the DRAC as shown.
Then you can run any electrically-driven S-truck speedo/cluster, although you will have to hack on a different cluster connector, since it is bound to be different from yours.
