Ty for $6500???

Hey guys - NEWBIE here!

Is it a good deal? 107k - body in good shape (black on black '92), motor is good, only exception is a bad tranny.

I've wanted a Ty for over 6 years now. I'd love to fix this thing up and make it fast.

You guys are the experts - what do you think? Yay or nay?

Is it knocking alot under boost, IE about to blow from someones ignorance?
I'd say that it all depends on "How" the mileage is.
100% factory/virgin truck? Don't want someone elses learning experiences...
Have you read the syty Buyers FAQ?

Don't spend your last nickel on it.
You'll most likely be spending a few hundred right out of the chute on "Spring Cleaning" ontop of dealing with the transmission.

Funny... bad tranny right out of the gate... Welcome to the club on day 1!
