after trans issues, now resolved i am happy to say that i'm rollin' again. don't know transmission lingo so i can't say what all it has inside. i was told it got some yukon denali internals though, what ever that means?
took it out for a test drive yesterday and it feels good to have 2nd-3rd and 4th gear again  . so i take the on-ramp to i.h 35 and i'm basically waiting in line. the last car passes and i start to accelerate. well the passenger starts staring at the typhoon like he's trying to figure it out. guess he can't so he turns back forward. so to help him with that i leave a huge gap between my front bumper and their rear bumper. accelerate and...
...waaaa-psssssssshhhhhh bov goes off and i think i might of givin' him whiplash. what made that even more enjoyable was that i timed it perfectly right under the cross-over bridge so the bov was really loud>he turned around soo hard and fast it really was funny. he then starts to look more closely to my front grill and then that is when i think he notices my huge front mounted intercooler that replaces the actuall grill. the intercooler actually sits flush with the grill plus i put gmc right in the middle (stock location) so i get a lot of double takes. which i don't mind cause now it's like i am now getting noticed. unlike my school days.
just wanted to share this with you guys cause i thought you guys could appreciate it more than my usuall friends and customers. friends?

Awesome, it really is a great feeling when you get a SyTy back on the road. When I first took my Sy home a few months ago, it was heaven making that BOV sound when ever people were around. Now all I need is a huge front mount just like you. The after market air/water ic I have is just not cutting it.

Post a pic of the grill. I would love to see how it looks.

X2. I would like to see how you adapted the hood latch also. I have a big ass i/c also and it will be really tight to fit behind the grill.

Glad to hear you hot it running again Nick. I got the ty going again as well with only 500 miles on the new build. I will be taking it to a dyno soon to get some numbers.

by the way, no hood latch. i have hood pins w/mini master lock pad locks. people trip out on that. :D

i too will be looking forward to getting my ty dino-d. repeat customers have already invited me to go to the track next weekend with them. not registered or inspected yet so i don't know yet?
a guy from san antonio just bought a ty from austin and i sold him my extra set of syty wheels. him and i are looking forward to a syty meet soon.
i also told him about syty.net so hopefully he'll make it here soon
