Hi all, although it has been 4 months since the purchase, this is my first post on the site. I am quite pleased with Ty #1006 as it is always attracts compliments from those that know and "WTF is that" stares from those that don't. I live in the Phoenix area and have road tripped it twice around the state and am amazed how well these drive and handle. With only 6,xxx miles, I won't be driving it too much more before putting it in storage for the summer as black cars don't fare well in the AZ summer. I have yet to dig into all the documents that came with the truck (thanks Chris!) but look forward to doing so which I imagine will generate a lot of questions for you all. Looking forward to getting involved more on this site. Below is a picture link (I hope) of its first day in its new home.

Your truck is totally badass.Did Chris show you how to properly boost launch it?
(I'm one of the guys that originally inspected the truck when it first showed up for sale in Joelton TN.)

Chris provided all the books/manuals/receipts, but since we were 1,800 miles apart couldn't show me much. Looks like you guys know a heck of a lot more about her than I do! Where do we start???

Thanks for the info...Chris and the previous owners kept great documentation for the truck which is one of the reason's I bought it. It is hard to find low mileage, stock trucks that also have excellent paperwork.

Chris was the second owner you are the third.

Fun fact, the original owner made that scratch on the top of the interior tailgate panel when he was loading up his guns into it because of Y2K. :haha:

"Putting it away for the summer" is not something we usually hear in Ohio.

LOL...no kidding. I grew up in Minnesota so it is an odd concept for me as well, but seriously, the heat and sun do not compliment the turbocharged engines...much less the 90's GM black paint work!!!
