Between chatting with the previous owner and a few guys on here, the best that we can tell is that it either had a leak at the regulator, or one the lines may have been dry rotted.

Dam your a brave man. Glad to see your saving her. I saved a ty 4 months ago that was rotting outside some farmers garage repainting it now. Putting some love in her. I prob should have parted her but love these trucks to much to do that.

Thanks man. You can see the right behind the RF tire where the goofballs at the auction yard stuck the forklift through the front edge of the cladding.

Got a bit more pulled off, just trying to be slow so I can get a lot of detailed pictures...would LOVE to have it on the lift, but my pops' "beater" still doesn't have the front suspension under it.

Upper looks ok, except the melted the ring where it clamps on...just super dirty.

Awesome! Thats the part that I think is gonna drive me the craziest...trying to run all that little stuff down.

I would give anything to have a running truck to go back and forth on to be able to see where something is located, routed, etc.
