It's just a six said:Sure ,no problem
I would say if you go w/a 20G turbo & a stock converter try & get a 12 CM turbine housing.
That is why I stated this earlierTYTILIDIE said:Just a little FYI, I have a 14 and it spools great. I know I have a 3k stall but I didn't always. Before I had a cheap $200 local built 2500 stall and it always spooled up perfect.

"But,unless you have a loose converter that stalls to 2600-2800 RPM range, the 14 CM housing is too big for quick turbo spool up."
2100-2200 "STOCK"stall is not enough.
graham1524 said:anyone have an opinion on the waller modified stock turbo i was reading his thread and would it spool quicker with the stock TC and how would it compare to the 20g
graham1524 said:those r good number and what i understand is that you can pull around that with either turbo does the 20g on your truck spool fast?
It depends on what your goals are. You gotta make up your mind what combo you want to build and then get a turbo that matches for the boost pressure you plan to run. If you do vortecs and a cam then you should get a turbo at least as big as a PT51 IMO, all the way up to a PT67 if you plan on running 25+ PSI Boost on high octane. If you're never gonna run anything but pump gas it would be pointless to get a huge turbo and counterproductive.graham1524 said:yea
also i was considering some mods like vortecs and rollers along with pistons etc. would the waller or the 20g be better go with for the mods i plan on around 400 hp so i have been reading a great amount on here on which would serve me better towards the mods i would like
