turbo ?

Re: turbo ?

as far as bolting on, technically yes it will just bolt in place. but you will need a downpipe for it and need to remove the old water cooling lines from the old turbo setup and plug them. if your using the stock air filter crossover setup you will need to change to a different filter setup to accomodate the larger inlet on the turbo

Re: turbo ?

Thats the PTE44 that requires a 3" PTE downpipe. You can do a 20g w/12cm2 housing and it will bolt right up. If you want to call on Monday I can give you a better idea of availability on that housing since its been out of stock for awhile.

I don't have much to offer for the stock replacement type stuff, but if you want to go bigger then we can discuss other options like our new GT35R setup that will be available soon. Just test-fitted yesterday and clears A/C just fine with the 4" S-cover

it really depends on your ability to tune well. a 20g can give you some good results with a good tune. mid to low 12's is possible

I run my 20g at 20 psi and it never feels like it lays down. Goal is 24 psi but I need to take care of some mechanical issuse first.

Don't forget,you have a 57 MM compressor wheel installed. ,,correct? ;)

Re: turbo ?

True, but I don't see why it wouldn't be able to make the power up there anyway. Jeremy's truck is on the stock turbo and I think they ran 25psi on it on their 11.9 pass. Nothing a little meth cant fix

I do not think it was a little meth,,,,more like a lot of meth,so much as he had to reduce his spark plug gap, as it was snuffing out the spark. ;)

Do you carry the rebuild kit for the PTE44? If so, how much and how can I order one? Thanks.

is there a size difference in the tdo6 and tdo6h

The "H means it has the bigger turbine wheel, which is less restrictive.
A 20G is a direct bolt on replacement turbo.
I would suggest havng a larger compressor wheel installed like a 57 MM trim compressor wheel on a stock turbo,or a 20G turbo. TDO6H-20G
But,unless you have a loose converter that stalls to 2600-2800 RPM range, the 14 CM housing is too big for quick turbo spool up.

I am getting by w/a 12 CM housing & 2100 RPM stall "stock" converter, sure,, it would be quicker with more stall, but that is what I have in it for the time being.

Hope this info helps.

so the housing for the H would be 14cm and that would require different parts to bolt on

Yes the "H" will have the 14 CM housing.

No, you do not need any parts to bolt on that turbo.

The statement I said,if you have a stock 2100 RPM stall converter,,the TDO6H-20G turbo will spool up slow.

It will be a complete bolt on turbo,no parts needed to use it.
