turbo problems

just installed a te44,atr 3"dp,atr wg. allready had pitbull and usual mods
seems to be slower now also boost comes on real slow what might wrong ???

Are you running a stall converter? Sounds like it might be lagging.

No. PTE said it should work with stock converter.

It may very well be leaking between the turbo and exhaust manifold, very common with the atr setup.

re-check for exhaust leaks, and intercooler pipe connections. Boost will come on a tad slower, but should feel noticably faster. Does the boost gauge flutter or is it a consistant reading?

checked exhust - no leaks. Boost reads constant. Re-adjusted fuel pressure, seems to be better. Still seems slow to come on.
