turbo link help please

anyone have any connection issues?
tl says my cabling's ok, but it won't talk to the ecm.
i am in complete affirmation the tl is ok - something aint right in the ecm, perhaps...or the laptop...but my scantool talks fine.
there's a slider for aldl/normal selection that is grayed out - can't change it.
i know dm has this and it does allow selection - anything here i could be missing?

i wish i could help, i had a similar problem, i ended up using a 2nd lappie for the job, after that incident the 1st laptop worked, go figure??

problem solved, bad ecm, hammer time on that bitch...or maybe the torch...or the lawn mower - oooooooo.............lawnmower....lots and lots of little pieces....anyone want a pic of an ecm that's been thru a lawnmower?
