My Sy is still apart, so ive been playing more with my CRX. I love seeing "ricers" on here. Some of these people have no respect for other ideas, almost like, hillbillys... or Al Gore.

I bought my CRX for gas mileage and have now spent WAY too much time and money on it. I just finished a new motor and went to the local track this weekend. It was only about 50 degrees out with 78% humidity with a barometer reading of under 20. UGH, oh well, on my shot ass street tires I ran a best of 14.6 at 99 mph. It is all motor, no Nitrous or turbo. My new motor is a 2.0 instead of a 1.6 so its torque is through the roof for a 2100 lb car with full interior, tank of gas, and 235 lb driver  My brother took some video of my "1/4 mile burnouts" as the anouncer put it

but i still took some pride from a 5.0 Stang.
I dont understand all the ragging some guys do on imports, even ford and Gm are in to it heavy now. There are FWD 4 cyl cars going low 9's at over 165 mph ! ! Im going saturday to make a dyno run, then sunday with a set of old slicks i have. If i dont break, and can hook up BEFORE 4th gear, it should be fun. I love going fast so it doesnt matter how i do it. It does bother me when i go to the track and have people bad mouth me and my car b4 they see it run or talk to me. Most people would be amazed at how much some of us "Ricers" know about cars. Ive been to "all import" races and us "Kids" are serious about it. So a little less of the banging on imports would be appreciated.
And BTW... i get 25 mpg in town and 30-35 on the highway, it handles like an indy car, and i still smoke your average Mustang Cobra or SS Camaro from a roll, with a investment far less than the sticker price on a used SS or Cobra.
