about how long does it take to remove a turbo and install a new one? I'm kind of a rookie at this kind of stuff.

depends, if everything is tight ass hell, you might have to remove the manifold, cause you prolly break the studs

say 1 hour if everything is going as planned, 4 hours if everything is a bitch

I came in here to say that. Allow plenty of time for when something goes wrong.

Go spray WD40 or 6N1, I prefer Prolong but it's hard to find, on all the nuts and bolts for a couple of days before you attack the job. I'll smoke for a bit when you drive it but the heat really lets the penetrante get in there. Don't use so much you risk a fire.
