Don't use an o-ring. It is a "Stat-O-Seal". I get them from Earl's. Use a bit of RTV on the underside of the seal and on the threads of the fitting that goes into the pan. You want just a bit of ooze from under the washer. Then be really careful to not let the fitting turn again when installing the nipple and hose.

1-5/16" OD, 3/4" ID, 1/16 Thick. These dimensions are the ones which I have been able to obtain as replacements. The original is 1-1/2" OD, but I haven't been able to find those. The 1-5/16 OD is fine.

I have 3 of these in my stash. PM me a mail-to addy, and I'll put one in an envelope. You should have it in a few days. Merry Christmas.
