Turbo Blanket?

Has anyone ever put one of these on our trucks. It seems like it would be an obvious mod to lower the intake/ic temps. Could a turbo blanket damage the turbo over time? Just curious.

Damn, sorry I didnt see this post sooner. I have one and it works great! It might take two tries to make it look really good. Your IC will be noticeably cooler. you can drive it and put your hand on the under side and notice a difference. On my new build I have the turbo blanket and the downpipe wrapped....works even better. But went air to air, still worth it.

Summit sells what we call a "turbo blanket"
It is not a wrap like the safety wire kind.
It is a pliable foil covered blanket that you mold onto the turbo.
Kind of holds itself on there.
