True weight on the Typhoon???

Has anybody ever tried to weigh the TY's? My sticker says it weighs 4700lbs. That seems like quite a bit. Is that true?

Find a local truck stop.
many of them have calibrated scales.
Might cost ya $10 but at least you know.

I dont mind the cost. Now I guess I have to find a truck stop near me. Just thought somebody might have donr that already.

4700#'s isn't the actual curb wieght, I think its the maximum weight when loaded up. I think its going to be closer to 3800#'s, but I have never weight one.

I weighed my ty when I first got it. 3812# bone stock with a half tank of gas
and no driver :tup:

I weighed mine at the track a couple years back, it was 4,200 lbs with me in it...

I weighed mine with my sub box removed and me in it, came for 4050 lbs and I weighed about 200 lbs at the time, so truck would have been around 3850.

Ha ha, i live on dirt roads so its probably got 100 pounds of dirt burried in it...

I weighed mine with a full tank of gas and everything else bone stock. Without me in it it weighed in at 3990.

did I read that right? 86lb savings with rpm's front coil over setup? Thought it was suppose to be more then that no?

There's a company in town that has one of those cargo scales in the ground. You just drive up on it and get out....go in and get the ticket. It's basically the same scale that we have at our local track. Other than that, I couldn't tell you much about it. Sorry
