truck wants to shut down around 6 psi. boost Any idea??

I get to around 6 psi. of boost with it & it seems like it is dumping way to much fuel in it, wants to stall. I have to put it nutural for A second or two. then rev it up to clear it out. Idles fine & runs fine up to that 6 psi. point. My guess it might be the MAP or the Fuel Pressure Reg. What you you all think?

Thanks..

Can you get more then 6 psi of boost out of it? If not, then I agree with Dave; sounds like your Cat is plugged.

Bad sensor, bad tune.

Well then, guess we can rule the cat out as a potential problem. I'd be checking you fuel pressure when the problem occurs, NOT AT IDLE. It could be as simple as a restricted fuel filter.
MAP sensor is a possibility too. Mkae sure all you vac. lines are intact.

So I guess this means its running then?? Thanks for letting me know dick! Its funny you have this issue, mine is doing the exact same thing! I'm thinking either fuel pump or injectors in my case.

First I'd check is Fuel pressure, I kinked my afpr vacuum line once and it acted the same. If it's cutting out like it hit the fuel cut, that'd be my guess.
