truck needs buffing??

i have a prob with my paint on my syclone, every time i wash it it needs to be waxed because the watter fades the color, and looks streaky so i wax i...i know syclones dont have a clear coat on them...is there anything i can use to keep it from doing that.........car show season is comeing up so i need it to sparkle....should i get it buffed out? and if i do, should i get the clading buffed also, or will that a bad idea??? also how much should i look to spend on fixing this prob. i cant buy new paint job, just rebuilt motor. i have been using zymol. thanks matt

here's what I use- The wash, Clay bar(once a season) Z1, Z3, and Z5.

if you do get it buffed make sure thay take out the swirl makes with a foam pad.

If you get it buffed tell whoever is doing it that there is NO CLEAAR COAT!.
GM was very cheap on the paint on all Sy/Ty's. It is very thin. Just look under your hood , I bet the paint is peeling/flaking off the fender rails.
I know all the black ones I have seen does this.
