Hi,

i'm getting ~140 in simmilar weather. Your gauage's scale is starting at 100, right? Are you sure it's working? Have you connected ther wires the right way? Where is your sender, it must have a ground.

i have a tranny temp gauge also... waiting till i get a new pan before i install it. im just wondering where do i put the sender? if i put it in the pan, is there a gasket that i need or should i just use teflon tape?

BTW, damn you richard and your shiney engine bay... im jealous!

My one is on the return line from the tranny before the coolers. You can use an additional tranny filter with a fitting for the sender (summit has one) or you can fabricate a T piece to hold the sender. I did the later one. If you put the sender into the pan you will read lower tempereatures than you tranny actually sees.
