Seems like the Ty's came with 32 spline coming off the transfer case and the Sy's came with 27 spline. If you had warranty replacements though, you won't know for sure unless you get under there and look.

mikle u said about an inch i checked mine and it is about a inch ,but in your pic it looks like its a little under 3/4 ?this converter worked in my old trans but this is a new trans from john but im guessing nothing should change right
