Yes, it's possible, but I think most people prefer to have some sort of airflow as a safety in case the fan goes out... not good when that happens

I have my stock trans cooler in the rad out of the loop and have a trans cooler up front infront of my fmic piping on the pas side.

i just moved mine under the bed too. its the only one i have too. ill let you know how it goes once it gets mobile again.
btw, i think the 4l80e runs a good bit cooler than a 700 anyway, so that may be a factor. Myclone, i know you also have an 80e so you can probably verify...

I took the in radiator cooler out of the circuit and the cooler/fan under the bed is the only one.
The temps climb faster now when stalling up against the converter but driving around town or on the freeway they stay cooler than when I had the same cooler behind the grill plumbed in series after the in radiator cooler. Not a huge worry IMO since sitting there stalling the converter for minutes on end serves no useful purpose other than beating the drive line to death.
You'll need a fan on the cooler if you mount it under the bed since theres almost no air flow back there as well as the heat off of the exh gets trapped under the bed floor when sitting still IMO.

Yes, those are QA1's. I like em so far even if they are a little "blingy" looking compared to what I usually like.

I had a cooler under the bed on the tow pig no trouble just made a small scoop for it trans ran cooler than before
