TPS will not stay at (0%)

Well still trying to figure out this sy's issues. I installed a new TPS today and still getting the same results. TPS % in TunerPro is flickering at 1-2%. I turned down the idle screw a little and it went to 0%. Finally I thought. Then I stabbed the throttle a little and it still settled at 0%. Nice. I put it in gear and the truck died. So I restarted it and then the TPS% was flickering at 1-2% again

Anyone have any ideas on what else could cause the TPS ro read anything but 0% ?
IAC maybe? Position shows around 38 at idle.

By the way, I now have NO hair left... :p I have now pulled it all out ...

OK, unhooked the TCI controller and now it stays at 0% So, It must have something to do with the TCI unit. I am going to experiment tomorrow and see what I come up with.

Thanks

doesn't the controler interface w/ the tps? got a ground loop? or voltage feed to it?

Re: TPS will not stay at (0%)

*** UPDATE ***

Was getting feedback or noise I guess. I actually tied into the TPS wires at the ECM including the TPS ground instead of the chassis or engine ground. All connections were made at the ECM instead of underhood and it seems to have fixed the issues. Thanks all for helping

Re: TPS will not stay at (0%)

Messing w/ the idle screw is a no-no. the factory sets the throttle blades to what is called "minimum air". This is set to barely maintain an idle w/ the i.a.c fully seated, and disconnected.
This gives the ecm a full vacuum signal at idle. My tps was set at 1.25 volts at idle, as measured at the middle blue wire.
