So several people have been asking for them for many years now. Today was the day we designed up the cross-member and fixtures for a torsion bar delete.

I will have some cad pictures this week as I do the final design on the laser flanges. Pictures of the prototype won't show the final product very well.

Price for the GP will be $230 shipped to your door. Main tube is 1.5" dia 4130, custom lazer flanges and in the future will be a 2nd option for drive line hoop (which varies on transmission type).

If you are serious let me know. Per the new rules I only need 1/3 down to get your on the list to make sure you get one. I will make a few extras but, you snooze you loose.

Production will be in a couple weeks.

Any questions let me know, ty1295@gmail.com is my email and paypal

Code what?
Torsion Bar Delete Crossmember

Does this replace the torsion bar crossmember or the frame crossmember in front of the torsion bar crossmember? Or is it designed to replace both? If so does it allow the support for the catalytic convertor brace?

This requires coil-overs right? Torsion bar delete cross-member because the installation of coil-overs?

Replaces both, after going coilover some have removed this for trans access. Others have removed partial. This cleans it up underneath and gives a lot more clearance. It does include brackets for the cat convertor. If someone does NOT want those brackets I can leave them off prior to welding. The laser cut flanges will include this feature but can easily be left off also.

I should have a 3d model by tomorrow posted (today if I get time).

Yes, requires coil-overs as it does NOT have provisions for the torsion bars.

I'd be interested in 2, although I'm waiting for the drawings. I'd really like to hear if this will add more strength vs only having the frame member without the torsion crossmember. If it's simply cosmetic I'd have to say I'm out.

I won't make a claim it will be stronger than just the frame cross in there, I would say stronger than it totally removed. I would say the most important thing is those running an 80e the clearance for tailshaft of transfer case will be significantly better.

I am trying to get it drawn up today, but work has kept me busy on the CNC most of the day. 4 axis machining is easy, picture a cnc with 6+ axis, and a part worth over a million on the table when you find out the math being done to calculate the 5/6 axis head is WRONG.

Cad Model to come, I can take a pic of prototype but it is just that a prototype purely to get dimensions and build a fixture.

Re: Torsion Bar Delete Crossmember

Picture added, you can see tabs for Cat built in to stock location. The left side opening will allow for parking brake cables to go through. We felt a bar going across was not enough, hence the lazer flanges for additional support and gave a clean place for the cat flanges also.

The 2 holes you see near the middle will be used in the future for the options driveline hoop.

Subject to a few minor tweaks but this is the basic design and look.
