I have actually been over 200 in a street car I was the pas. in a pro street mazda RX2 and we did it on the freeway on the way home

I've pegged the speedo in the Sy to where it took forever for it to come back down. Talk about floating..

And hit about 145-150 in the Z a few years ago. I blast to 130 or so every now and then though.

Took out my bosses old 01 Porsche 911 Turbo. Had it at 165-170 once. With 2 people in the car with me to witness it. :D

all the beamers were used cars that i took out for test drives to get warm for smog check. now i just stay below 80.

I have had my Z to the limiter at 162. The fastest I've had my bike coincidentally is 162 according to my GPS. My dad has an 05 R1 that I ride on occasion. Has pretty much all the bolt ons before actually getting into the motor and put a little over 160rwhp. That thing is ridiculous. GPS on that thing read like 175 and still pulling. All fun but all stupid too.

I hear that... you're really aware of the 110+ in a GN.

I've had the Sy up to 144, according to Diacom. Darn thing started to lift up on me, and I was running out of road, so I got out of it. There was more there.

Hood's 156 sounds about right to me, as far as max theoretical. The MPH limit kicks in at 120, but it only sets the WG DC to minimum canister, which is still 7-8 psi.

I was driving when Dobrick went 130...truck felt fine...was not the least bit scary....I know iT would go 150 easy without traffic.....we will be using it for a standing mile soon...will post results.

The fastest I've had the Ty was that 120mph I just posted about. I think it tops out at 125 stock but I let out when he started walking on me.

Oddly enough it didn't seem to shake as bad at 100+ as it did between 65 and 80. I hate driving it at freeway speeds because it shakes like a Harley at idle.

i ran my little escort gt to 115, that was kinda spooky, and an 74 ekly to 110 which i'll never do again. i'd say the fastest i've ever had the ty was 120 cause that's as fast as the speedo goes :D

Yea its pretty bad in GN's when you get up there, they start to float and then the window's suck outward and don't sit flush. But at least with the speedo's you can honestly tell the officer you thought you were going 85.

I went 150 mph by Diacom in Dabneys Ty - I was in the passenger seat. The thing about the 150 mph was we averaged 120 mph over 119 miles. Big Bend open road race in Texas - 1999.

My personal fastest was 295 km/hr(183 mph) by speedo - 176 mph by Power FC - R34 GT-R Blackbird. About 400 whp, on pump gas

I have to find the time to do 200 one day.

If you have a stock chip it is just barely over 120 due to the limiter.

Jeff I though you did 152 on that run in Wyoming. I know I hit 147 and was right next to you until we cam up on traffic. Maybe my memory is faiding :rotf:

Well, according to the chart, that would put us right at about 180 tops, without factoring in drag, friction, or other varibles (motor will safely rev to 5800). I've had it up to 115, and it felt super stable and tracked well, although it looked like the mirrors were about to blow off. Max'd out the Exploder at 108. Had a friend swipe a VR-4, max'd it out at 150

I've got a et slip from the strip that says I was going 113 at the end of the quarter, but other than that I have no proof that I've ever gone any faster. I would like to hear of everyone's actual proof, like a speeding ticket or something. I also ran a car on a dyno test cell at 140 once - once, then the dyno broke (bad day).

145 mph in the ty with my pops and a new dish washer in the back.
