I know I'm not the fastest around but I just had to brag a little since these are the best times I've ever run in my Sy.
Mission had one of their street-legal Fridays nights last night. So I figured I'd go down and see what I could do.
First run I didnt get a good launch (I had parked beside a Lightning in the pits and we agreed to line up on the first race) he left before I could get good boost and when I saw him leave, I figured, ah w/e, I'll just go. That run was a 13.84 with a 1.96 60', not bad, faster than my best in Edmonton. The L ran a 13.6 that run. Pretty good (his best that night was a 13.5), the L owner was a really nice guy and we ended up shootin' the shat for a while. He had always liked the Sy's and was happy to see one at Mission.
Anyway, 2nd run. I get a good launch, high 1.8 60', 13.75 e/t. Improving. Ran up against a full mod'd GN, I left before him and was looking in my rearview trying to see him, next thing I know he's flying past me and runs a 10.XX.
I sat out one time to try to let the truck cool off. Robyn show'd up with some ice which helped as did the 17* weather by that time of night.
So my 3rd run was my best, got a great launch, low 1.8 60' and got a 13.54 e/t, 97.4mph. WOOT!
Ran one more time just for fun (I had already got my 13.5 which I was really hoping for). I think I got a litte too much boost at the line as I actually spun the rears a little on the launch. Ended up running a 13.60, almost caught the F250 in the other lane even after waiting almost 3 seconds at the line, lol.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. I'm one happy Sy owner.
