Tintmaster's Street Drags, Oct. 4

Weather is looking ok for this... nice and cool.

For the un-initiated, these are match race/time trial events... if things aren't busy, you can make a lot of passes. And, they tend to be fast passes, since the air is good. It's like $30 to run.

Dad will have the GN out... I'm not sure I'll make it back from the cities in time to make it... gonna try.

This will be the last chance to run up here this season.

I still have nothing fast to drive :( maybe I can get rusty back to a 14 sec wonder like from the factory.

Dump some decent gas in it. I've got a few old runner chips around that can beat 14s.

Like 100 octane? or something different? in all reality with the cat off it runs alot better, I think my biggest issue now besides the rust is the i/c. Still need to go log a run to tell for sure but still seems like it is retarding timing.

Weather was pretty nice for this, Soeast wind, so it kinda pushed ya downtrack. GN ran an 11.77, buncha 11.8s. Darn near got beat by a 80's shelby charger running low 12.0x at 117. Happened to look over at 3/4 track, and he was still there...

There was some fast cars there... Supra knocking on the door of high 7s, TT early 90s Cobra running in the 9s. The usual array of wanna-bees too.

Glad you guys had a good time, lets just say the night before was very long and Saturday the last thing I wanted to do was drive. hahaha
