Timing chain covers

I am looking for an aluminum timing chain cover that will fit our engines and is nice looking. I bought the Edelbrock two piece cover but it says you can't use it with '87 and newer engines, but this really baffles me because I never knew they were any different. I am just wondering if anyone knows were to get one from and what everyone is using, I will stick to the stock one if I have to but I really like the look of the aluminum ones. Thanks for the replys in advance.

The differens is how the cover is attached to the oilpan. I can't help you with where to locate a timing cover.

Talk to Jerry @ McCoy Motorsports.
I bought the Cloyes 2 piece and sent it so they could install it. It wouldn't work either, so they installed an almost identical 1 piece cover.

The only thing is you won't see 80% of the cover.
Most of it is covered by the water pump & pulleys.

Thanks for the help, I kind of figured it would not work but I kept hope because according to my fel-pro books the gaskets are the same so I would assume it would work oh well. I will call McCoy's if my dads friend can't find me one. Oh and the Proform one is a chrome one which I don't like chrome but thanks for trying. I will let you guys know what I find out.
