i hope its not the GT500...but i know he likes mustangs for some unknown reason.

Pretty sure he's speaking pre-mod hp...so no challenger/camaro. Maybe an SL65, that'd be pimp.

Shit, how much $ do you think I have for a weekend car ;)

Re: Time to move on.......

Change of plans....sy is still going, had been looking at an SRT-10 Ram but after many test drives and such it's not the right things to buy/do. So, I'm keeping the SRT8 JGC, which is fantastic but we added an 05 BMW 545i to the stable. Black on black, 6 speed with sport package, fully loaded w/17k miles. Got a great deal and damn what a fantastic car....likely the tightest, all around nicest thing I've driven. So that's it!

Don't let the door hit you in the ass.
BMW & Volvo's are for women. Can you even work on them or do fork out the old check book?

Check book seldom needed on either, they are virtually bullet proof.

" Funny thing is that I had it inspected (annual PA insp) recently by a local guy that works on a few Typhoons and he mentioned how quick this Sy was compared to the Tys he works on."

I am just north of Allentown Pa and drive to Jersey everyday for work. I am looking for a local guy to do some tuning no that my 4th rebuild is finished. You mentioned a local guy, does he also do tuning?

No tuning but he's fairly good with SYTYs. Morgan's Garage in Furlong PA, ask for JR

I got rid of my wifes BMW. I think it stands for Break My Wallet. My friend has a 98 M3 and another just got a new 08 330 twin turbo. Made 267 to the wheels on my dyno.
Great handling cars, hands down. Solid feeling. She misses the car. I do too sometimes. Just would not go out and buy a new one. One of those cars you want to consider selling when the warranty runs out. Price parts and you see what I mean. A friend of mine works for the GOV here and is from Germany. Has a Euro spec 850 and a 5 series he dynos. Makes computer programs for them. He tells me the same thing. Over there the smart people sell them after three years. Inspections are so tough to pass, they require a lot of parts be replaced.
Still great cars. Well engineered. Can't deny them that.

well engineered would mean the suspension parts last longer than 50k miles

I know they are expensive to maintain but I'm ok with that. Spend more than 5 minutes behind the wheel and it's all forgotten. These cars drive so amazing well with the 50/50 weight distribution, the speed sensitve steering, sport suspension, throw in a nice v8 and a silky 6 speed in the mix and WOW! There is a reason they are called the Ultimate Driving Machines!
