Time for tires

Yup, getting close. Stock wheels, preferably sock size. V or W rating. Opinions? Need something fairly sticky but not a drag radial. Virtually never driven in bad weather. Decent handling.

Thanks!

Re: Time for tires

Take a look at the toyo tqs . They now have the 255/50/16 that will fit the stock rims nicely!
Mine were the 275s wich bulge a little to much!! Tire compares to the M/Ts!

Re: Time for tires

Don I have a set of green dot tires on stock rims. The stock rims are in ok shape as I used them for track use. Tires maybe have 500 miles if that on them and only a few passes. Shipping to CA might hurt...

You could look into it if you want. Probably not worth it though. Appreciate the offer.

ZIP here is 95403. Just about as far away as one can get without getting wet.

Its a shame you are so far from me don, i have a set of new toyo r888's 255/50/16, that fit stock wheels, i'm sure shipping would suck.i have vette brakes all around, now stock wheels wont fit, so they are no use to me anymore.

Code what?
Kumho ecstas here, got them for $100 a tire on tirerack. A lot of times they have rebates. I have enjoyed every mile of mine. They perform well on the strip, very good on the track and the street. The comp-2 BFGs would be my pick if money wasn't a factor
